The electric car manufacturer Tesla has announced the recall of a batch of cars due to a problem related to seat belts, the Associated Press writes.
According to the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the recall affects more than 125,000 vehicles of four different models. According to the report, the seat belt warning system provides a visual and audible warning when drivers are not wearing their seat belts properly, but this warning may not work in some vehicles.
The company plans to recall more than one hundred and twenty thousand cars of four models.
The recall includes certain 2012–2024 Model S, 2015–2024 Model X, 2017–2023 Model 3, and 2020–2023 Model Y vehicles.

Last month, Tesla recalled 3,878 of its 2024 Cybertrucks after finding that the accelerator pedal could jam and potentially cause the vehicle to accelerate unintentionally and, as a result, increase the risk of a crash.
However, Tesla is not the only car company to recall cars in 2024. Earlier this month, Ford recalled 243,000 pickup trucks because their taillights could go out, making accidents more likely.
