South Korea and the European Union (EU) jointly condemned North Korea’s supply of weapons to Moscow. They also demand that she withdraw the North Korean troops she sent to Ukraine. EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell and South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul held their first meeting as part of the “Strategic Dialogue” in Seoul shortly after Washington and Seoul sounded the alarm over North Korea’s deployment of soldiers from North Korea to aid Russia. Reuters Reported.

Along with one another, they condemned “North Korea’s illegal supply of weapons to the Russian Federation for use in an attack on Ukraine.” The two nations also signed a partnership agreement for defense and security that covers 15 topics, including disarmament and cyber security.

Asked last week whether Seoul could send weapons to Ukraine in response to North Korea’s aid to Russia, Cho said all possible scenarios were being considered.
