Republican candidate former President Donald Trump is ahead in six swing states (battlegrounds or swing states) compared to current President Joe Biden, the Democratic candidate in the presidential election to be held in the United States next November. This data was revealed on Wednesday in a Wall Street Journal survey.
Trump leads Biden by 2 to 8 percentage points in six states, according to the Wall Street Journal. These states are Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and North Carolina. Third parties and independent candidates are fielded as candidates in these survey states. Apart from this, the same results were also seen in the polls for only Biden and Trump.
Wisconsin will be a tight race between the two candidates. Biden is ahead by 3 points in this state in a survey of multiple candidates. And in the fight between Biden and Trump, the support of the two is close.
In this year’s US presidential election, Biden’s campaign has to contend with voters’ concerns about the country’s economy. The Wall Street Journal poll showed that negative views of Biden’s actions increased by 20 points in four states. But of Trump’s seven battleground states, only Arizona had a negative view of him.
48 percent rated Trump as physically and mentally fit to serve as president. In comparison, only 28 percent supported Biden. Between March 17th and 24th, 600 voters from each of the seven states were surveyed among 4,200 people.
Trump talks with the Saudi prince
Mohammed bin Salman, the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, and Donald Trump recently had a phone conversation. The New York Times reported from two sources that this conversation took place between the two leaders on Wednesday. However, what the two talked about has not yet come to light.
Saudi Arabia was on the itinerary for White House National Security Adviser Jack Sullivan’s visit last week. However, he had health issues and had to postpone the tour. Sullivan desired to visit that location as part of efforts to restore relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia. However, the details of Yuvraj and Trump’s conversation were kept a secret.
When Trump came to power as president in 2017, his first state visit destination was Saudi Arabia.
