German football club Bayern Munich, at its annual general meeting held on Sunday (December 8, 2024), announced that it has surpassed the $1 billion mark in financial turnover in the 2023/24 fiscal year. The club’s revenue reached €1.017 billion, with the football division contributing €951.5 million.
Club Total profit increased by 15%, reaching 62.7 million euros, and net profit grew by 21%, reaching 43.1 million euros.
Bayern CFO Michael Diederich is committed to the club’s financial position: “This year, too, we can announce that we are debt-free. This is unique in Europe and guarantees us financial independence, gives us flexibility and is a basis for the coming years.”
The Bayern club’s membership has grown to 382,000, the highest number of any football club in the world. “The figures we present today are the result of our hard work, commitment, and love for the club and show the solidity of our financial position,” said Diederich.
In addition to its financial health, Bayern Munich is expanding its global presence. The club has toured Asia and the United States and will represent the 2025 FIFA World Cup.
