Another country is sending a lander to the moon. The rocket left for the moon with the lander on the night of February 15. If all goes well, he is supposed to land on the moon on the 22nd.

India has succeeded. Japan has also recently made its debut as a successful country in lunar missions. America is also sending a spaceship to the moon this time. However, this is not their first lunar mission. However, in the last 50 years, no American spacecraft has touched the lunar soil. America has taken a new initiative to land on the moon.

However, the American space research agency NASA is not directly associated with this lunar mission. Elon Musk’s company SpaceX is sending a lander to the moon. That is, it is a private initiative to touch the soil of the moon. On February 15, the Nova-C lander left for the moon on a SpaceX rocket. This operation has been named as ‘IM-1 Mission’.

The Nova-C lander sent back some pictures of Earth from space during the second stage separation from the SpaceX rocket. Musk’s company also posted that picture on the X handle. The four images sent by the lander show the full shape of the Earth step by step. The first three images contain fragments of the world. In the fourth picture, the world is fully captured by the camera.

Although NASA is not directly involved, the American space agency has an agreement with SpaceX about this mission. Under the $11.8 billion contract, the Nova-C lander will also conduct research and exploration on the lunar surface for NASA. If everything goes well, the lander will touch the lunar surface on February 22.

NASA has six payloads on Nova-C. They will investigate the lunar climate. NASA plans to send astronauts to the moon by the end of this decade. Before that, the Space X mission is also being used for detailed research about the environment, weather of the Earth’s satellite.
