Randy Moss, a 47-year-old wide receiver and member of the American Pro Football Hall of Fame, revealed on Friday, December 13, 2024, that he is undergoing cancer treatment.
According to CNN, following six days of treatment for cancer discovered in the bile duct between his liver and pancreas, Moss announced on Instagram Live that he was discharged from the hospital on Friday.
Player Moss has declared himself a cancer survivor and honored the prayers of fans in his condition.
Moss revealed that he had a liver stent inserted on Thanksgiving as a result of urine discoloration. He added that he will receive chemotherapy and radiation therapy after undergoing a six-hour procedure approximately a week ago to remove the cancer.
Moss spent 14 seasons in the NFL, mostly with the New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings.
With four first-team All-Pro selections and five NFL receiving touchdown leads, he is regarded as one of the best wide receivers in the history of the game. Moss had 156 touchdowns and 15,292 receiving yards during his long and successful career.
