Jeff Bezos, the founder and former CEO of Amazon, is getting ready to tie the knot with his fiancée, Lauren Sanchez. In fact, wedding invitations have already started going out, according to recent reports.
Page Six reports that Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez will be getting married in Venice, Italy, sometime this summer. Earlier, there was talk of a June wedding on their $500 million yacht.
Billionaire Bezos was previously married to MacKenzie Scott for 25 years before their divorce was finalized in a $38 billion settlement in July 2019. Four years after their marriage ended, he went public with his relationship with Sanchez, 55, a former news anchor. Surprisingly, Sanchez also divorced her then-husband, Patrick Whitesell, that same year.
Bezos and Sanchez got engaged in May 2023. In an earlier interview, Sanchez told Vogue Magazine that Bezos proposed to her with a 20-carat, $2.5 million pink diamond, which he had hidden under her pillow after dinner. Later, while Sanchez was removing her makeup, she was surprised to see the ring. Sanchez said that when she opened the box, she felt like she had passed out for a moment.
When asked about taking the Bezos surname, she said, “Uh, yes, 100 percent sure. I’m looking forward to being Mrs. Bezos.”
According to Forbes, American businessman Jeff Bezos has a net worth of $212.3 billion as of 3/23/25, making him the second richest person in the world.
