Ray-Ban has updated its smart sunglasses for users of Apple Music, WhatsApp, and Messenger. With this new update, users can make video calls from WhatsApp and Messenger using Meta’s Ray-Ban Smart Sunglasses. Apart from this, music can be listened to on Apple Music more easily.

Previously, Ray-Ban Smart Sunglasses could be used to take photos or videos and send them to others. But there was no possibility of direct video calling. Now it has added the facility of making video calls directly to others using WhatsApp or Messenger. Video calls can be initiated by double-tapping the sunglasses. Users can use this facility even if there is no WhatsApp in the Meta View app. Apart from the video calling facility, the Ray-Ban Mata voice assistant can be used to launch specific songs, playlists, albums, artist songs, or any type of music.

Meta’s Ray-Ban Smart Sunglasses need to be updated to use these new features. After that, it can be updated by entering the Meta View app by pairing it with the phone and going to the settings.

Meta and Ray-Ban Stories first launched smart sunglasses in September 2021. At that time, the price of the device was estimated at 299 US dollars. With the first smart sunglasses, users can take pictures, listen to music, and exchange messages on Facebook and WhatsApp.
