Elon Musk plans to charge new users to publish messages on the microblogging website X (formerly Twitter). Such measures will be taken to close fake accounts. Elon Musk said this in a message to X.
In response to a message from X, Elon Musk also said that users will not be charged for messages or posts after three months of opening a new account. In a message to X, he said charging a small fee for new account posts is the only solution to bot problems and fake account closures. However, Musk did not disclose any information about when this plan will be implemented or how much money will be charged.

Earlier last year, it was announced that new users would have to pay a dollar a year to use X’s various features. Then it is said that if you don’t pay, Users can only read other people’s posts on X; you can’t post yourself or respond to other people’s posts. X also initially introduced this rule for those living in New Zealand and the Philippines. Even then, this initiative was announced to solve the problem of fake users or bots.
Incidentally, after taking ownership of X, Elon Musk started the program of blue-ticking the account in exchange for money due to the decrease in advertising volume. He also imposed various restrictions on ordinary users to force them to use blue-tick accounts in exchange for money. While web version users can use Blue Tick for $8 per month, adding Blue Tick to iPhone and Android phones costs $11.
