An Alabama woman who says she was raped by American rappers Jay-Z and Sean Diddy in 2000 at the age of 13. A judge ruled that the female victim in the incident could proceed anonymously against the two rappers.
According to the AP, in her written order, Judge Analisa Torres criticized the lawyer representing Jay-Z. And the Manhattan lawyer said the victim could proceed anonymously in the first phase of the lawsuit. His identity may be revealed at the next hearing if the case proceeds.
Diddy remains in jail in the US capital of New York awaiting a criminal trial on federal sex trafficking charges. A Texas attorney says more than 150 men and women have accused Diddy of sexual assault and exploitation.
The victim said in her case that she was raped at the age of 13. She moved to New York City from Rochester in 2000. There, she befriended a limousine driver, who then took her to an after-party for the MTV Music Awards, where she was raped by Jay-Z and Diddy.
In this case, rapper Jay-Z’s attorney, Alex Spiro, asked the judge to dismiss the entertainer from the woman’s lawsuit and asked for a hearing the day after he submitted his written requests on December 18.
