It comes from the well-known leaker Ice Universe, who said on Twitter (formerly known as X) that the iPhone 16 Pro will be the thinnest smartphone available. Indeed, the Pro models of this year would even outperform the Galaxy S24, which at the moment has the thinnest edges of any smartphone.
Several weeks ago, a rumor emerged stating that Apple could incorporate a larger screen into the Pro models. Furthermore, the screen size of the iPhone 16 Pro would be 6.3 inches, as opposed to the current model’s 6.1 inches, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max would have a screen size of 6.9 inches, as opposed to the 6.7 inches of the current model.
Taking into account the information from Ice Universe, everything indicates that Apple would be able to offer a larger screen without drastically increasing the size of the device thanks to even thinner edges than those of the iPhone 15 Pro.
