Later, Shah Rukh Khan won consecutive awards at the Filmfare stage for Ekadi films like ‘Baazigar’, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, ‘Mohabbatein’, ‘Devdas’, ‘Chawk De India’. However, Shahrukh did not get any award at the 69th event.
‘Pathan’, ‘Jawan’ were nominated in multiple categories. But singer Shilpa Rao was awarded for the amazing song ‘Beshram’ from the film ‘Pathan’. On the other hand, ‘Jawan’ bagged the best awards in the Best Action and Best VFX categories. But all are on technical ground. Shouldn’t King Khan have received an award for the way Shahrukh returned to Bollywood after a gap of five years? Sorry fans.
