Max made the history of being the youngest to clear 90 meters distance in Javelin. No one has thrown the javelin over 90m so far this year. Max’s maximum distance till Saturday was 78.07m. He threw the javelin at a distance of 90.20 meters on Sunday. The next throw was 85.45 meters. Max explained that the 90m-plus throw was no fluke. Which is a cause for concern for Neeraj.
Max made his place in the Olympics by throwing more than 90 meters. This year, there are Paris Olympics. If you throw more than 83 meters, the contestants can directly qualify for the Olympics. That’s what Max did. That means he will face Neeraj in Paris Olympics this year. Sonajayi’s best throw last time was 89.94 meters. That is 0.26 meters less than Max’s throw. Therefore, before the Paris Olympics, Germany’s Max must have raised the concern of India’s Neeraj.
