America’s newly elected President Donald Trump (Republican) announced the name of former United States Administrator of the Small Business Administration, Linda McMahon, for the post of Education Minister. Trump announced information Tuesday evening, November 19, 2024. Al Jazeera Reported.
“Linda will use her years of experience and deep understanding of both education and business to empower the next generation of American students and workers and make America number one in education in the world,” President-elect Trump said.
During Trump’s first term, McMahon, a prominent Republican donor and former pro-wrestling executive, was the administrator of the Small Business Administration. She was appointed in 2017 and left in 2019 to take a position as chair of the pro-Trump super PAC America First Action.
Commerce secretary, Howard Lutnick
US President-elect Donald Trump has nominated billionaire Howard Lutnick for the post of Commerce Secretary in his next administration. Latnick is the head of US investment firm Cantor Fitzgerald.
In the statement, Trump also said that he (Latnick) will lead the United States on revenue and trade issues. In addition, he will manage other direct duties for the US Trade Representative Office.
