23-year-old Ganesh’s home is in the state of Gujarat. And like ten people, he is healthy and normal. incredibly gifted At three feet, it’s only comparatively low. He was unable to pursue his goal of becoming a doctor because of this. The Medical Council of India denied his application for admission to the MBBS program a few years ago on the grounds of his height.
But Ganesh was persistent in fulfilling his goals. With indomitable spirit, he ran to the headmaster of his school for help. Then he approached the district collector and the state education minister one by one. On their advice, a case was filed against the decision of the Medical Council in the Gujarat High Court. But the verdict did not come in his favor.
Ganesh did not give up. He appealed to the Supreme Court against the judgment of the High Court. He got his first victory there to make his dream come true. In 2018, the Supreme Court rejected the High Court verdict. As a result, the barrier is removed. The next year, Ganesh took admission in MBBS in a government college. Currently, he is working as an intern doctor at Sir T Hospital in Bhavnagar, Gujarat.
Ganesha is now providing medical services to people every day. He said that there is no problem with the height. In Ganesh’s words, ‘Whenever a patient sees me, at first they get a little startled. Then of course they accepted me naturally. And I also accept that they fall into the trap first. They treat me very well and positively. They are also happy to receive treatment.
