Last Saturday, Lula da Silva wrote on his X handle, what Israel is doing in Gaza is not war, it is genocide. They are killing women and children indiscriminately.
In a recent event, Lula da Silva made a speech comparing the ongoing killings in Gaza with the Holocaust (Holocaust) led by Adolf Hitler. He had to come under severe criticism from Israel. Meanwhile, he made this comment again.
Regarding Israel’s attack on Gaza, the Brazilian president said, “It is clearly a genocide.” Thousands of children are being killed. Thousands more are missing. It is not the soldiers but the common people who are losing their lives there. Mainly women and children. If it’s not genocide, then maybe I don’t know what genocide is!’
Earlier, the President of Brazil commented that Israel is killing Palestinians in the same way that Hitler’s Germany killed Jews in the ongoing Israeli massacre in Gaza last Sunday.

Israel reacted angrily to Lula da Silva’s comments. Lula was declared unwelcome in Israel. Israel summoned Brazil’s ambassador to Tel Aviv and called on Brazil to apologize for Lula’s comments.
