Same-sex marriage, Australian foreign minister’s knot

In a social media post with a photo of the two, Penny wrote, “We are happy because “so many family and friends spent this special day with us.” The wedding ceremony took place in Adelaide, South Australia. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and his girlfriend were present.  There were several politicians close to Penny, including the country’s health minister, Mark Butler.

Penny and Sophie have been in a relationship for almost two decades. Sophie is seven years younger than Penny (55). They have two daughters. Alexandra is 11, and Hannah is 8. Two daughters were born through the IVF procedure.

Young has been a senator since 2002. He is the first person of Asian descent to hold a cabinet position in Australia. Sophie, on the other hand, is a health department worker.

Incidentally, same-sex marriage was legalized in Australia in 2017 after the movement.  Penny was also involved in the same-sex marriage movement. Penny’s speech in this debate influenced the countrymen.
