Saturday night, in the fourth match of the Americas Preseason Tour, Inter Miami beat Olimpia 5-0 at the Estadio Olímpico Metropolitano in Honduras. Earlier, Messi’s team beat Panamanian AF Sporting San Miguelito 3-1 and Peru’s Universitario on penalties.

According to USA Today, Miami will return to South Florida after the game, and World Cup winner Messi may attend the Super Bowl in New Orleans.

Inter Miami won all four of its preseason games under new coach Argentine Javier Mascherano, and he played for clubs such as FC Barcelona and Liverpool.

Next Friday, Miami will play the fifth match of the Americas Preseason Tour against MLS rivals Orlando City at Raymond James Stadium, Florida, and then play the MLS season opener against New York City FC on February 22.

First half

After Lionel Messi scored a goal from Suarez in the 27th minute of the first half to give the team a one-goal lead, Argentine footballer Federico Redondo scored in the 44th minute with Messi’s assist to make it 2–0. Then in the last 45+2 minutes of the first half, twenty-year-old Noah Allen scored again, assisted by Messi, to give the team a three-nil lead.

Second half

Messi’s close teammate Luis Suárez scored in the 54th minute of the second half to give Miami a 4–0 lead. Messi left the field in the 63rd minute after a fantastic game. Ryan Sailor then scored in the 79th minute to give the team a 5–0 lead, and Miami defeated Olimpia as a result.

Goals and assists for Miami

For Miami against Olimpia, Messi had one goal and two assists, Luis Suárez had one goal and one assist, Federico Redondo had one goal, Noah Allen had one goal, Ryan Sailor had one goal, and Benjamin Cremaschi had one assist.
