American actor Johnny Wactor, known in particular for his role in the series “Central Hospital,” died this Sunday at the age of 37, TMZ announced. In downtown Los Angeles, he was reportedly shot and killed.
Johnny Wactor was killed Saturday night in the streets of Los Angeles. According to the actor’s mother, he was with a colleague when he saw three men trying to steal his car. The actor then approached and was directly targeted by gunfire.
According to information from the police, emergency services arrived on the scene around 3 a.m. Johnny Wactor died in the hospital; he was 37 years old.

Johnny Wactor is best known to American audiences as Brando Corbin. This is the role he played in the soap opera โCentral Hospitalโ from 2020 to 2022. But he has also played smaller roles in other successful series. He made his debut in 2007’s “Army Wives.” He has additionally starred in episodes of “Criminal Minds,” “Westworld,” and “NCIS.”
