Mark Zuckerberg overtakes Larry Ellison to become the third richest person in the world

Meta founder billionaire Mark Zuckerberg overtook computer technology company Oracle founder Larry Ellison to become the worldโ€™s third-richest person on Monday (January 6), according to Forbesโ€™ real-time billionaires list. Information reported by Financial Express.

Changes in the billionairesโ€™ net worth mirrored movements in their companiesโ€™ stock on Monday (6 Jan), with Zuckerbergโ€™s net worth rising more than 4% to $217.7 billion after market close, while Ellisonโ€™s fell 0.3% to $209 billion.

Zuckerbergโ€™s Meta stock closed up 4% at $630.20 on Monday, while Ellisonโ€™s Oracle stock closed down 0.3% at $165.78.

According to Financial Express, Zuckerberg and Ellison switched positions between third and fourth place in the race for billionaires on Friday, January 3, with Ellison finishing the day ahead.

Larry Ellison is currently the fourth richest person in the world based on Forbesโ€™ Real-Time Billionaire List. But this rich manโ€™s position can change from time to time based on the rise of the stock. Elon Musk is currently the richest person in the world, with a net worth of $425.2 billion.

Larry Ellison, whose full name is Lawrence Joseph Ellison, is an American businessman and co-founder of the computer technology company Oracle Corporation. And currently he is the Chief Technology Officer of Oracle. And Ellison is one of the top 10 richest people in the world.
