Saudi Arabian Oil Company Saudi Aramco was the world’s most profitable company in 2024, recording $120.7 billion in profits last year, and as of January 2025, Saudi Arabia’s national oil company was the world’s sixth largest company by market capitalization.

Google’s parent company, Alphabet, ranks fourth on the list with $73.8 billion in profits and is one of the world’s largest tech companies by market capitalization.

America’s Microsoft company ranks fifth in the list of Most Profitable Companies with a profit of $72.4 billion.
Industrial & Commercial Bank of China

Sixth on the list is the Chinese partially state-owned multinational banking and financial services corporation Industrial & Commercial Bank of China with profits of $51.4 billion, and the company is majority owned by the Chinese government.
JPMorgan Chase

Profits: $49.6 billion
American multinational financial services firm JPMorgan Chase ranks seventh on the list with profits of $49.6 billion and is the world’s largest bank by market cap.
China Construction Bank

Profits: $47.0 billion
Chinese partially state-owned multinational banking and financial services corporation China Construction Bank ranks eighth on the list with $47.0 billion in profits.
Meta Platforms

Profits: $39.1 billion
Meta Platforms, the company that owns Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and WhatsApp, had a profit of $39.1 billion in 2024.
Agricultural Bank of China
