The world’s top 10 billionaires have a combined wealth of around $2.58 trillion—more than the GDP of most countries on our planet. And eight of these billionaires are from the United States, with the other two from France and Spain.

Billionaire Elon Musk is the first person in history to surpass the $700 billion mark, and the largest source of his wealth is his billion-dollar stake in space company SpaceX.
After Musk, Google co-founder Larry Page is in second place with a net worth of over $257 billion. In 2025, shares of Alphabet (Google’s parent company) surged 63%, significantly increasing his wealth.
Meanwhile, Big Tech company Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is in eighth place with $162.5 billion. His wealth was $4.7 billion in 2020 and has grown at an astonishing rate since then. According to Visual Capitalist, Nvidia’s share price has risen more than 4,200% in the past seven years, making Huang’s wealth grow rapidly and placing him among the top billionaires.
