If you keep your eyes on the night sky, you can see various cosmic events and objects. And if you have a good-quality telescope or binoculars, many mysterious things can be seen. Astronomers say that a cosmic explosion is going to happen about 3,000 light-years away from Earth, which can be seen using binoculars. The explosion will occur near the constellation Corona Borealis.
This cosmic explosion is expected to happen by September. This rare cosmic explosion will be extremely bright. For this reason, this explosion will be seen as a temporary new star in the night sky. According to NASA, people living in the Northern Hemisphere will be able to easily see this explosion.
There is a dead star in a distant constellation called a white dwarf. That white dwarf is closely orbiting a red giant star. The center of that star is rapidly running out of hydrogen. This explosion will occur due to the increase in pressure and heat in the white dwarf.
It is well known that the location of this explosion—the Corona Borealis constellation—is invisible to the unaided eye from Earth. Still, the explosion is visible with binoculars. The night sky will appear to be bursting like a new star for approximately a week. Such explosions occur every 80 years, according to NASA.
