They claim that this is the world’s first AI software engineer. They named this program Devin.
Until recently, it was not possible to rely entirely on any program to create a website or a video. An employee of the organization had to be involved in this work. But Devin, an engineer built by cognition, can use his intelligence to write code and fix bugs on his own. He is then able to turn the code into websites and videos.
Last year, the American technology company Microsoft, GitHub, and OpenAI jointly developed a chatbot called Copilot. A chatbot is a type of computer program or software that is built with artificial intelligence (AI); that is, it is a kind of chat interface where various information is added with the help of programming beforehand. Through which he can later establish contact with people.
A software development assistant named Devin was created based on CoPilot.
The biggest advantage of this software, named Devin, is that it does not require additional instructions. A single command can completely transform a website or software program. In addition, it is capable of finding software errors, which saves software engineers a lot of time.
It can complete an entire software project by itself without automatically executing any tasks or writing code.
