Garmin has entered the rapidly expanding market for screen-free wearables with the launch of Garmin CIRQA, a new fitness and wellness tracker that’s designed for people who want to track their health all day long without the bells and whistles of a smart watch display. The company is positioning the device as a lightweight, ad-free alternative to competitors like Whoop that combines all-day health tracking with Garmin’s long-established fitness ecosystem.

Priced at $199.99 in the United States, Garmin CIRQA will be available starting July 24 in multiple color options and two sizes. Unlike many competitors, the smart band includes full access to health insights through the Garmin Connect app without requiring an ongoing membership, making it a more affordable long-term option.

The Garmin CIRQA syncs all fitness and health data directly to the Garmin Connect smartphone app, so there is no need for a screen. The method provides users with detailed reports on their activity, recovery, and overall well-being and helps them stay focused throughout the day.

Garmin says the simple design is for people who want useful health data without constant nudging or screen time. The app can follow your progress of training, how well an exercise went, and whether your body is ready for your next workout or would be better off taking a day off.

Despite its compact design, Garmin CIRQA offers a comprehensive suite of health-tracking features. It continuously monitors heart rate, blood oxygen saturation (Pulse Ox), skin temperature, breathing rate, stress levels, and sleep. These metrics are combined to provide users with a clearer picture of their recovery and daily readiness.

The Garmin CIRQA supports over 80 activity profiles so you can track running, cycling, strength training, walking, and many other workouts. Several activities can be automatically detected, and completed workouts are summarized with performance metrics and recovery recommendations inside the app.

The smart band also offers a battery life of up to 10 days on a single charge, so you don’t have to charge it often. The lightweight fabric strap is comfortable all day and can be worn on your wrist or upper arm.

Garmin CIRQA is a move away from its traditional GPS watches to tap into the growing demand for screenless wearables. With consumers placing a higher priority on recovery, restful sleep, and ongoing health monitoring, Garmin’s newest gadget provides a viable alternative to subscription-based activity trackers. The Garmin CIRQA is a great option for athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a simpler way to monitor their health, with no subscriptions needed for Garmin Connect, state-of-the-art sensors, and long battery life.
