Argentine star Lionel Messi has donated €80,000 ($92,332) to help rebuild the Sierra Oeste area of Madrid, which was hit by wildfires. With this humanitarian aid, he has proven that he is not only a good soccer player but also a generous person.

Isabel Díaz Ayuso, president of the Community of Madrid, revealed Messi’s donation. She praised the former Barcelona star on social media platform X, writing: “I want to thank him and tell him that the people of Madrid hope to welcome him soon to give him the applause he deserves.”

The western part of the Spanish capital has been severely affected by fierce wildfires, causing extensive damage to farmland, homes, forests, and property and forcing the evacuation of many residents.
