Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, who will face each other in a highly publicized boxing match on July 20th in Dallas, United States, previewed this fight in a joint promotional event, which culminated in a usual “face off.”.
Before that moment, in a press conference, the YouTuber, who is 30 years younger than the former heavyweight champion, who will be 58 years old when they both enter the ring, promised that he would be the “man who put Tyson to sleep for the last time”: “I’m going to teach you how to box.”
In response, Tyson pointed to his opponent’s physical shape: “Just light the fire and see; I’ll finish you, Paul. You say you’re at your best and you should be thin, but I see you as fat. I saw you without a shirt, and you’re fat and flabby. You can’t hurt me.”

Faced with this provocation, Paul recalled the defeat that Tyson suffered against Buster Douglas in 1990, his first of six in his career (in contrast to 50 victories, 44 of which were via knockout).
“Buster was fat, and I’m better. I’m going to finish you off faster than him, and you’ll always remember that. You’re the one who started me; I love you for that like a son or a father, but I have to put you in your place. Go to the ground, old man,” he concluded.
It should be noted that Tyson has not participated in a professional match since 2005 and has only participated in one exhibition fight in 2020. Paul, on the other hand, has nine wins (six via “knockout”) and one loss on his official record.
