BTS, Madonna, and Shakira will perform at the first-ever halftime show of the 2026 World Cup final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, FIFA said on Thursday (May 14). One of the world’s most famous singers, Chris Martin, will curate the spectacular event on July 19.
However, all of the artists announced by FIFA are widely popular around the world, including Colombian singer Shakira, who is best known for her official song for the 2010 South Africa World Cup, Waka Waka. She has also reportedly released an official song for the 2026 World Cup, called “Dai Dai.”
FIFA President Gianni Infantino said on social media that the half-time show of the 2026 final would be a truly special moment. He added that the World Cup would bring together music, football and a shared commitment to improving the lives of children around the world.

For the first time in football history, the 48-team World Cup, jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, will run from June 11 to July 19, which fans around the world are eagerly awaiting. But instead of 64 matches in the previous World Cup, 104 matches will be held this year.
