According to Zamin, a source at TSR indicated that Al-Nassr striker Ronaldo is looking for a partner to buy Valencia and could reach an agreement with Mohammed bin Salman in this regard.
MBS will control the financial part of the deal, and Ronaldo can officially become a partner in the club. On the other hand, the Mohammed bin Salman-led foundation also currently owns English club Newcastle, which it bought in October 2021 for £305 million.
Current status of Valencia:
Currently, Valencia is owned by Peter Lim Eng Hock, 71, a Singaporean businessman. He bought the team in 2014 but has faced major problems in recent years due to the team’s decline in the game.
In the 2024–25 season, Valencia is 18th in the points table in La Liga after 25 rounds. The team’s last major title was the Copa del Rey in 2008. Their performance indicates that the team is in danger of relegation.
